Mr Paul Thomas Hegedus

Paul is a first-time self-published Australian children's author, proud husband and dad. Together with his husband, he welcomed their son through surrogacy in Mexico, an extraordinary journey that inspired him to write Luma, The Great Forest and Mirror of Love.

Paul wrote Luma to celebrate the beautiful truth that every family has its own story. Through a gentle, magical tale, he hopes to help children see themselves reflected in the books they read and see that families are built in many unique ways, but all are made with love and that love is what truly makes a family.

His wish is that every child feels seen, valued and proud of their own unique story.
