Cecil Hudson grew up in Connecticut, the youngest of eight children of a West Indian father and a Southern mother who were married for 63 years. His parents instilled a deep belief in education and community involvement, values that continue to shape his commitment to developing others.
Cecil earned a BA in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. After starting his career at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), he spent more than 30 years in executive roles, primarily in healthcare and financial services, where he found his passion for leadership and helping people grow.
He is the founder of INAIA Coaching & Consulting, which offers leadership coaching for emerging, established, and executive professionals. INAIA stands for "It's Not Advice. It's Awareness.®," a philosophy that guides his work as an ICF-PCC and Gallup CliftonStrengths certified coach.
His books, *The Intentional Career Handbook* and *The Intentional Career Workbook* (Volumes 1, 2, and 3), offer practical guidance for professionals navigating career transitions and organizational culture. He also enjoys writing for younger readers and is the author of the children's book *10 Spunky Monkeys*.
