Peter A. Hall

Peter A. Hall is the Krupp Foundation Professor of European Studies in the Department of Government and the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University. He is the prize-winning author or editor of twelve books and more than a hundred widely cited articles on comparative political economy, European politics, and institutional analysis.

His wideranging interdisciplinary research includes studies about how economies and their politics vary across nations, how political economies change over time, the role of ideas in economic policymaking, coalition formation in modern electoral politics, process analysis in political science, and the impact of social structures on inequalities in health.
