Vanessa Matelski

Vanessa Matelski has been telling stories for as long as she’s been able to string a sentence together. She writes, sketches, and makes short films in Small Town Northern Michigan, where new stories show up almost as often as the weather changes. When she’s not falling down a plot hole, there’s a good chance you’ll find her scampering around her garden, covered in soil as she greets the bumblebees, or plodding around the kitchen, covered in flour as she kneads another loaf of bread.
