I'm Lelanie Botha, a South African children's author who believes that the smallest stories can leave the biggest impact.

I created the Lumi series to help children discover qualities like courage, kindness, resilience, and self-belief through gentle bedtime adventures. My hope is that every story becomes more than just a book—it becomes a special moment shared between a child and the person reading with them.

Like many parents, I know how precious bedtime can be. It's a chance to slow down, cuddle up, and end the day with a story that sparks imagination and meaningful conversations.

When I'm not writing, I'm balancing family life, a full-time career, and the dream of building Lallie's Story House into a place where children can find stories that encourage them to shine a little brighter every day.
