M E Tellez has spent the better part of two decades designing systems that sit between human intent and machine response, including full-time roles at Fortune 100 companies such as Dell and Amazon. As a pre-med student he developed a deep interest in neuroscience, approaching the brain not as a metaphor for intelligent systems but as their original blueprint.
In 2012 he was granted a US patent for an exercise system built into the computer workstation. By 2014 he had built Adrenaline Junkie — a sensor-driven system that decided when you trained and how hard, generated your goals and schedule from your own body's data, and rewrote the plan every day as your weight, intake, and effort changed. After gathering your vitals from mobile devices, it acted on its own: a smart, self-directing system that sensed, judged, and responded toward a goal — artificial intelligence by the textbook definition, built years before the world agreed on the word.
Today, through his company NEURO-IS, he is developing NEURO — a multi-agent AI platform (New Era Unified Reasoning & Orchestration) built to coordinate specialized intelligent agents around a single user's goals. His first book, The Other AI: The Art of Instruction, introduces the Natural CodeLex™ framework at the heart of that work — for those who want to operate inside AI systems, not merely use them.
He wasn't predicting how computing would evolve. He was building it.
