Ryan Hurd

Ryan Hurd is a pastor, author, and unapologetic fan of Ohio State football, Cleveland sports (yes, both—one brings trophies, the other builds character), and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

He pastors A Fresh Wind Church in Elyria, Ohio, where the purpose is simple: leading people to discover more in Christ. He is also the founder of Efficient Church, helping pastors and teams streamline ministry so churches can reach further, faster. Ryan holds a degree in Christian Leadership and Management from Liberty University and is the author of When Heaven Marvels and Ministry Sync.

Ryan and his wife, Joy, met at youth group and married in 2008. Together they are raising four amazing kids—Ty, Gavyn, Ellyanna, and Rhys—plus two Goldendoodles: Benny and Millie. They live in Northeast Ohio (God's favorite place on earth!), where the calendar stays full and their Breville is a constant companion.
