Robert Kershner has spent more than two decades working with children in Washington State schools.

As both an educator and lifelong storyteller, he believes books can help children build empathy, confidence, and resilience.

The Lonely Avocado is his first children's picture book.

When he isn't writing, Robert enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new creative ideas, and dreaming up stories that make children smile.
