Jamison Travis is an author, private investigator, and free-lance photographer based in Austin, Texas. Her writing is shaped by a life of resilience, curiosity, and a deep desire to understand the human experience. After surviving a traumatic brain injury and living with vestibular migraine and Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD), Jamison turned to poetry as a way to express what often cannot be seen or easily explained. Her debut collection, When the World Tilts, gives voice to the emotional and physical realities of invisible illness while offering hope, connection, and the reassurance that no one has to face those challenges alone. When she isn't writing, Jamison enjoys live music, dancing, table tennis, traveling, reading, and spending time behind the camera. She believes that every person has a story worth telling and that words have the power to help people feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.
