Daniel Bearigo

Daniel Bearigo is a British author and storyteller based in Spain, writing fiction that sits at the intersection of myth, memory, and the human need to belong.

His debut series, The Land Remembers, draws on ancient legend and modern darkness to explore what we inherit from those who came before us — and the price we pay when that inheritance is lost. Beginning with The Keeper's Blood, the series follows a lineage of Keepers bound to forces older than history, in a story that is as much about identity and sacrifice as it is about the supernatural.

Daniel also writes across genres — from the psychological thriller The Memory Market: Borrowed Time and the supernatural mystery 3:17, to the mythological adventure Island of Lost Gods and the YA fantasy Venus: The Black Pyramid. He co-authors the I Am Angelina memoir series alongside his partner and creative collaborator Elisāngela Bearigo.

Storytelling runs in Daniel's blood. His great-grandfather J.G. Smart was a co-founder of Astra Films in 1919 — one of the pioneers of early British cinema. Recovering that lost legacy is both a personal mission and a creative one, now at the heart of an ongoing documentary project.

When he's not writing, Daniel is building Bearigo Studios — a media company dedicated to the kind of stories that stay with you long after the last page.
