Brian Strickland

Brian Strickland is a children's author from Scotts Valley, California, who creates heartwarming stories inspired by the bedtime adventures he shared with his two daughters. What began as a family tradition of storytelling has grown into an award-winning collection of children's picture books celebrating imagination, kindness, courage, confidence, friendship, and the joy of spending time together. His collection has received multiple Booky Awards recognizing storytelling, imagination, emotional growth, and meaningful life lessons.

After more than 25 years in the technology industry, Brian followed his passion for writing and now creates stories filled with magical adventures, memorable characters, and meaningful life lessons. Whether it's a magical crown, a mysterious cauldron, a beautiful singing voice, or a flock of hilarious birds, his goal is to inspire children to dream big while creating lasting memories for families reading together.

His published books include FARTBIRDS – A Feathered Farting Frenzy, Brianna's Beautiful Voice, Kayleigh and the Magic Beach Crown, and Kayleigh and the Magic Cauldron. Each story offers its own unique adventure while encouraging children to embrace creativity, kindness, confidence, and the importance of family.

When he's not writing, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters, extended family, and friends. You'll often find him mountain biking, barbecuing, gardening, hosting family gatherings, or discovering inspiration for his next story in everyday moments.
