Roxana de Rond

Roxana de Rond is a freelance illustrator working both in traditional pen, ink and gouache, and digitally. In 2016, she graduated with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University. Her first book, Milo and Monty, is published by Child’s Play. She has also illustrated books for Macmillan and Chicken House. Her upcoming picture book with Shelby de Rond, Bear’s First Christmas, is published by HarperCollins Children’s Books and out in October.

After years of moving between the States and the UK, Roxana settled in Cambridge. Cambridge proves to be an inspirational place to live with its buildings, green spaces, history and interesting inhabitants. Her art is usually inspired by places that she loves, where she often sits on the off-chance that she can capture moments of contentment (and the occasional mishap). Her favourite subjects to draw are people and dogs.
