Carlos is passionate about life on our planet. From an early age he showed a deep interest in animals, their names, habits, interesting facts about the extraordinary diversity of the natural world. His curiosity reached a new dimension when his father awakened in him an interest in the creatures that inhabited the Earth in ancient times, a fascination that never died away.

His curiosity led him to explore the works of prominent scientists and scientific disseminators, including anthropologists, paleontologists, naturalists, and biologists. That journey through rigorous science inevitably led him to the universe of fiction science and speculative zoology, where imagination and scientific rigor can coexist to give life to surprising worlds.

Inspired by both real creatures and fantastical beings and motivated by an abiding desire to share extraordinary but plausible stories, Carlos wrote "The Machine," a novel that combines science, adventure, and imaginative speculation and is the work with which he begins his career as an author. Through her stories he seeks to awaken in readers the same curiosity and sense of wonder that have guided her life since childhood.
