Michael Raviv

Michael Raviv is an economist, financial educator, and market practitioner whose work bridges the university lecture hall, the trading floor, and a global online audience.

He has taught investments, financial markets, and options at the university level for over two decades, and lectures in economics and finance at Tel-Hai University in the Galilee, where his courses span securities analysis, portfolio selection, and derivatives.

Alongside his academic career, he brings roughly 15 years of hands-on market experience: he founded and led an Israeli brokerage firm that managed investment portfolios and mutual funds. He specializes in derivatives — and even developed trading software for the Tel Aviv derivatives market — so his teaching is grounded not only in theory, but in the day-to-day reality of the markets.

He is also the creator of the channel "All About Economics with Michael," where he makes finance and economics accessible to a worldwide community of learners.
