Matt Johnston has spent over 25 years working at the very peak of Cyber Security, from national security contexts to the leading product and service providers in the industry to the peak of Silicon Valley and Big Tech. In 2025, he founded Practive Security to bring his decades of experience countering online adversaries to everyone, so that all can protect themselves and their households from all the threats that exist online. As a Christian, he brings his faith into all his work as the foundation of truth and morality upon which his work stands. His goal is to help everyone forge the best shield for defense that they can, by teaching, advising, analyzing, and writing.
