Born in the heart of Edinburgh in 1948, my family relocated to Great Malvern, Worcestershire in 1959 and after leaving school I became an apprentice Gas Engineer.

I met my future wife when, as an avowed "Mod", some friends and I visited Tenby on scooters for an Easter weekend in 1966.

After marrying in 1969 and managing to transfer to Tenby, our son(and co-author) David Jnr was born at the end of 1970.

Moving into the Hotel trade in Tenby and then into retail and back again into the Hotel trade we retired and thoroughly enjoyed playing with our two grandchildren.

When David Jnr suggested writing a Sci-Fi book together I immediately agreed and we have had so much fun writing with each other. Suffice it to say we have plans (and plots) for more books and hope you enjoy our first book Hell Space - Revelations.

Born in 1970 and unapologetically Gen X.

I was raised in the small Welsh seaside town of Tenby by a Spanish mother and Scottish father and co-writer, David Snr.

After university I lived in Madrid for a while teaching English to adults. This was where I met my future wife Amanda, herself a Yorkshire lass, also seeking adventures in foreign lands.

On returning to the UK a couple of years later we married and now have two grown up children. In the mid-90's I retrained as a solicitor and eventually became a partner in a fast growing law firm. After 25 years behind a desk I was lucky enough to be able to retire.

One rainy afternoon, whilst sharing a bottle of wine with David Snr, we thought it might be fun to try and write a Sci-Fi novel together. Two years later and here we are.

We hope you enjoy the book, we had an absolute blast writing it.
