Danielle Polselli writes stories about bonds that refuse to break, love that refuses to surrender, and ordinary people who discover they are capable of extraordinary things.
She grew up reading fantasy novels and playing video games where you build a party, set out on a quest, and somehow end up caring more about the in-between moments than the final boss. That's the story she always wanted to tell: heroes who doubt themselves, who'd rather not be the center of attention, who are brave anyway because someone has to be.
She lives with her husband, two daughters, and two cats in the suburbs of metro Detroit.
Of Light and Shadow is her debut novel.
