Greg Cannon
Greg Cannon spent more than 45 years in funeral service, building and eventually selling Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, Southern Crescent Crematorium, and Companion Care Cremation Services before turning his full attention to writing, speaking, and coaching.
His books grow out of a single conviction: that where you start does not set the limit on where you can go. Raised in South Georgia under the steady influence of a grandfather who taught him to be "wise like an old owl," Greg writes in a warm, direct, story-driven voice that has resonated with leaders, caregivers, and families navigating loss. That grandfather's wisdom lives on in his OwlVision imprint and in nearly everything he writes.
Greg is the author of Cultivate a Vision for Your Ideal Life, Imagine Your Dreams, The Twelve-Year-Old Boy, The Gears of Leadership, Breaking the Silence, and The Empty Chair. His work spans leadership, personal growth, and grief, always returning to the people and places that shaped him.
A keynote speaker, leadership coach, and certified grief facilitator, Greg serves as a continuing education provider across the Southeast for funeral service professionals. Greg is a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member. He lives in Toccoa, Georgia, where he continues to write, speak, and help others see how far their reach can extend.
