Kent Keller

Kent Keller is the Teaching Pastor of Christchurch Miami.

He became a Christian as a teenager, and spent 14 years as a youth worker / youth pastor himself. Since 1994 he has been a church planter, a Senior Pastor, and now a Teaching Pastor.

Kent has a BA and M. Ed. from the University of Montevallo in Alabama; a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando; and a Doctorate in Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. He has written for and been published in numerous popular and scholarly works, as well as publishing several of his own books … all of which would come as quite a shock to his high school teachers and college professors. Especially his college professors.

“You mean that guy who always came to my class late, sweaty and carrying a tennis racquet?” they would say. If they remembered seeing him at all.

Kent and his wife Heidi have four children, one grandchild, four cats, a German Shepherd who thinks she's a lap-dog, numerous wild peacocks and iguanas who seem to feel entitled to set up camp at their house at will, and a desperate need for a zoo keeper’s license. In his spare time, Kent has been known to read a book or two and to follow Major League Baseball.
