Davide Adamoli

Davide Adamoli is an engineer, a cybersecurity consultant, and a lecturer at the University of Verona. He holds degrees in computer engineering and bioengineering, with extensive experience in information technology, focused in recent years on cybersecurity governance and IT risk management. He lives in Italy.

A passion for computing and science fiction, rooted in his childhood, eventually led him to the world of modern artificial intelligence — not only as a professional tool, but as a question. When a series of conversations with an AI system unexpectedly shook his beliefs, he felt compelled to write about it.

Round and Round is his first book: the unedited transcript of those conversations, and an attempt to tackle questions that defy easy answers—what exactly are we facing? And above all: what remains of us as humans when our monopoly on thought is taken away?
