J.C. Jones

J.C. Jones is a crime thriller writer from North Wales, creating dark, cinematic stories with a modern noir edge. Best known for the Killing Reels series, Jones blends police procedure, psychological tension and the dangerous pull of social media culture.

Inspired by Nordic noir, international crime fiction and the darker side of online life, the series explores a world where violence can go viral in seconds, justice is buried beneath power and fear, and the people chasing the truth are often as damaged as the cases they investigate.

A love of travel has shaped Jones’ eye for atmosphere, place and the secrets locations can hold. Their TikTok channel also helped inspire Killing Reels, sparking ideas around viral attention, public performance and how quickly a private moment can become everyone’s obsession.

When not writing, J.C. Jones is usually travelling, developing new twists, researching investigative methods, or finding new ways to make readers question who can truly be trusted.
