I hated reading as a child. Or at least I thought I did, until I realized I just hadn't yet found my genre. The moment I discovered fantasy and sci-fi, that changed completely. Now I read everything I can get my hands on—at least as long as it's in the vein of romantasy or fantasy. When asked if I've read a book, my first question is whether it has dragons, vampires, werewolves, witches, or fae. If the answer is no, you have my answer. A native Texan, I call Houston home and enjoy a wonderfully chaotic life with my husband Josh, my daughters Cadence and Aelin, and our twelve-pound pup Oso—who shifts effortlessly between sweet pup and ferocious guard dog.
