Sherolyn Van Dalen

I am an overcomer, a witness, and living proof that healing is possible. Having endured years of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse beginning in childhood, I spent much of my life carrying wounds the world could not see — until a transformative encounter with Christ changed the course of my story. I am 65 years old and call Texas home, where I am surrounded by the love of my extended family who reminds me every day that joy still has a place in a healed life. I serve my church community as an adult Sunday school teacher and have the privilege of occasionally stepping into the pulpit to share God's Word.

"I Am Evidence" is the testimony that grew from my own journey: raw, honest, and written with the deep conviction that my healing was never meant to stop with me. I wrote this book for the ones still in the dark — the survivors who wonder whether freedom is truly available to them.

My message is simple and unshakeable: you are not what was done to you.

You are evidence of what God can do.
