Roland Raiche

Roland O. Raiche II spent forty years as a chef before answering a different calling, to tell the stories of those who built a nation worth keeping.

A father of four and grandfather of five, Roland grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire, not far from Boston, Massachusetts. Walking the Freedom Trail and visiting Lexington and Concord as a boy, he learned early that the story of America is worth knowing and worth telling.

A lay minister, former vocalist who toured Europe with the United States Youth Chorale, and producer of two award-winning documentaries, Roland is a man whose faith runs through everything he writes.

His debut publishing project, The New Guard Universe, is a multi-series collection spanning picture books for young children through adult historical fiction, all set in the world of The Founders Orphanage and Tree of Liberty School. Released in the year of America's 250th anniversary, it is a gift to his children, his grandchildren, and every reader who needs to know that character still matters.

Roland lives in Sarasota, Florida, with a heart full of stories still to tell.
