Victoria Hamlin is the creator of the Chester Cat children’s book series—charming, illustrated picture books inspired by her real-life ginger cat and his never-ending appetite for mischief.

Writing warm, playful stories for young readers aged 3–7, Victoria combines gentle humour, light adventure, and just a hint of mystery to bring Chester’s world to life. Her books are perfect for children who love cats, curiosity, and bedtime stories filled with imagination.

Based in Devon in the UK and inspired by everyday family life, Victoria creates stories that encourage children to be brave, explore their surroundings, and find magic in the ordinary moments around them. Each story blends fun, reassurance, and heart—making them ideal for shared reading between children and parents.

When she’s not writing, Victoria enjoys creative storytelling projects and spending time with her family—usually with Chester close by, planning his next adventure.
