Paul T. Wurth is the author of The Last Conduit, the first installment in The Chronicles of Teramh, a young adult dark fantasy series rooted in classic adventure, coming-of-age stakes, and the enduring struggle between light and darkness. The Last Conduit received a Bronze Medal in Young Adult Fiction (Ebook) in the 2026 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards.
A Midwest native, Paul has always been drawn to stories of courage, sacrifice, found family, and ordinary people called into extraordinary circumstances. His writing blends the wonder of traditional fantasy with emotional depth, exploring themes of identity, grief, loyalty, faith, and the cost of choosing what is right when the path ahead is uncertain.
Before stepping into the world of publishing, Paul served for nine years as a medic in the Air National Guard and went on to earn his graduate degree in clinical psychology. He now works as a counselor in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where his understanding of trauma, resilience, and the human spirit continues to shape the characters and worlds he creates.
When he is not writing, Paul can usually be found spending time with his family, getting lost in a good book, or building out the ever-expanding world of Teramh.
Paul looks forward to connecting with readers who love heartfelt fantasy, shadowed worlds, reluctant heroes, loyal companions, and stories where every choice carries a consequence.
