For more than 10 years, I have served in leadership roles within multinational companies such as Kraft Foods, Colgate-Palmolive, and Philips. After leaving the corporate world, I co-founded and led several private businesses, including a retail company that grew to more than 250 stores across five countries.
After my spiritual transformation in 2001, I came to realize that business, career, and ministry can be far more than ways to earn a living or achieve success—they can become powerful instruments for advancing God’s purposes in the world. This conviction led me to explore the concept of Business as Mission and to discover how biblical principles can help leaders align their work with their calling.
Drawing on Scripture, corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit experience, I developed the Tabouret Principle—a practical framework inspired by the simple structure of a three-legged chair: sustainable organizations stand on a strong system, an empowered team, and committed followers, all united by mission, vision, and values.
In this book, I share the lessons, insights, and tools I have gathered throughout my journey to help leaders turn business, career, or ministry into a meaningful expression of their calling. My hope is that you will not simply achieve success, but build something that can thrive beyond your direct involvement—a legacy that serves people, honors God, and continues to bear fruit for generations to come.
When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, I led humanitarian response efforts through the World Partners Charitable Foundation, serving people in crisis through practical action and compassionate leadership.
