Regina Trotta

Regina Trotta is a writer with a deep interest in human behavior, psychology, and the forces that shape how we think, connect, and sometimes divide from one another.

Before pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Regina served for more than 20 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. Her experiences working with people from diverse backgrounds sparked a lifelong interest in understanding how beliefs, emotions, and social influences shape human behavior.

After years of observing the growing outrage, polarization, and disconnection in both online and everyday life, she began writing down the questions that kept coming back to her: Why are we becoming less tolerant of different viewpoints? Why does everything feel so personal? And why do so many people feel lonely and misunderstood?

Those questions eventually became Why Being Human Is No Longer Enough, her first book.

When she isn't writing, Regina is pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, reading, spending time with family, and continuing her fascination with what makes people think, feel, and behave the way they do.
