Joshua Shapiro

Joshua Shapiro is known internationally as a Crystal Skull Explorer, author, spiritual researcher, public speaker, and investigator of the paranormal. Since 1981, he has explored spiritual mysteries, ancient wisdom, UFO contact, the crystal skulls, life after death, and the hidden dimensions of human consciousness. He has been a consultant for various TV shows and documentaries and is constantly be invited as a quest for on-line podcasts and internet interviews.

For more than four decades, Joshua has traveled throughout the United States, South America, Europe, Australia and beyond, giving lectures, attending conferences, conducting interviews, meeting spiritual teachers and experiencers, and researching the crystal skulls from both historical and spiritual perspectives. His work has been shared through books, public talks, online interviews, world peace meditations, and the Gateway of Light community.

In 1983, Joshua self-published his first spiritual travel book, Journeys of an Aquarian Age Networker. In 1989, he co-authored with Nocerino and Bowen, the very well received book entiled, “Mystery of the Crystal Skulls Revealed”, considered one of the first comprehensive books on the crystal skulls — it is a classic that was totally written from a spiritual perspective. His later books have continued his search into the mysteries of the crystal skulls, including the legendary Blue Crystal Skull and the spiritual experiences connected with these special skulls. Of which, some of his personal experience are so unbelievable they can sound like a fantasy story.

Joshua’s newest book, Imagine Your Dream Comes True, released in 2026, is a unique hybrid spiritual novel set in Dreamland — the realm where souls continue after leaving Earth. Blending baseball, afterlife exploration, spiritual communication, humor, love, and second chances, the story follows Joseph Schwartz as he enters a world where great baseball legends, loved ones, and guides speak as living voices. The book is currently available first through The Gateway of Light website, with the Amazon/Kindle edition being prepared currently and will be available shortly when the EPUB version of this book is completed.
