Tony McNulty writes about the choices, relationships and opportunities that shape our lives.
Whether through fiction or non-fiction, his work explores a simple but powerful idea: people are capable of more than they often believe. His stories and practical writing examine how our families, communities, habits and expectations influence who we become and how understanding those influences can help us build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Tony's professional life has always centred on helping people develop their potential. He is a qualified nutritionist and nutrition coach, an experienced football coach and coach mentor, and volunteers as a Development Officer at a community boxing gym, helping to expand opportunities for children and young people.
He has also spent many years leading and developing people in commercial organisations and now supports community initiatives focused on improving life chances for young people and their families.
A graduate in Social Science and the father of twin teenage boys, Tony has a lifelong interest in cultural shift, behaviour change and the ways family, community and culture shape our expectations of ourselves and others. Those interests underpin both his contemporary fiction and his writing on health and wellbeing.
His books invite readers to look beyond symptoms and circumstances, asking not only what people do, but why and what might happen if they were given the opportunity, confidence and support to change.
