Jennifer S Mead

Jennifer S. Mead is an award-winning educator with over 32 years of classroom experience and a passionate advocate for hands-on, inquiry-based learning. As the Director of Education for the California Invention Convention and founder of Invention Learning, LLC, she is dedicated to the STEAMie educational framework - integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, Invention, and Entrepreneurship. Through her InventionLIT project, Jennifer transforms classic stories into opportunities for innovation, encouraging children to turn "trash" into prototypes with their very own Invention Boxes. She resides in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where she continues to cultivate curiosity and ignite invention in young minds.
