Richard R. D. March

Author, Illustrator, Sculptor

R.R.D. March (Richard Robin Dietrich March) born November of 1981.

Richard was raised inherently as an avid lover of literature and art. The written works of Jules Vern, Robert E. Howard and Edger Rice Boroughs were just a few that captivated his young mind. Now it was not simply the words that captivated his imagination, but the illustrations as well. At this same time televison and films like those from Walt Disney and Warner Brothers added to his visual mind. Encouraged strongly by his parents he began to dream of his own narratives and imagery to accompany his thoughts.

However, his Father passed suddenly when Richard was just barely 18, and it altered his direction in life. Richard applied his creative skills over the year to other trades, such as graphic arts and contracting. Eventually he answered the call for civic service and became a fireman. But he never stoped his creative spirit. Once he started a family of his own, he began building out the worlds in his head for his children’s enjoyment. Conceptualizing came easy, though the time to apply them proved difficult. Whenever possible he would work tirelessly on writing and illustrating his dreams. Seeing the joy and appreciation his work would bring those he shared it with, gave him the desire to want to release it publicly for all to enjoy.
