Mark S Winfield

Canadian MARK S. WINFIELD is the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and is an adventurer, hiking enthusiast, vlogger, and the author of two previous non fiction books. A Through Hiker, as well as a leader and instructor, Mark curates the YouTube channel “Hiking Adventures with Mark Winfield”. He is a member of the Outdoor Council of Canada, Adirondack Mountain Club, Hike Nova Scotia, Appalachian Mountain Club, and the Lunenburg County Hikers.

As the author of fiction series The Mystery of the Stones of Great Bear Lake, he has appeared on US Public Broadcasting television, American national radio, as well as the high profile podcast Paradigms

Mark lives in Pine Grove, Nova Scotia with his wife, Patty, and their dog, Theodore.
