Gerry Feld

Gerry Feld was born in 1951, living his entire life in Minnesota. After working 32 years for the Minnesota Department of Corrections, he retired in 2006.He has been an avid historian of all things World War Two, Korea and Vietnam. He served a total of six years with the U.S. Army and the Minnesota National Guard. He and his wife JoAnn have been married for 43 years. Gerry enjoys travelling and visiting historical sites with his wife. He wrote a monthly column regarding conservative issues for the St. Cloud Times Newspaper for 15 years. Gerry was selected to research and write the history of Sacred Heart Church in Sauk Rapids, MN. in 2019 for their centennial.

Although I have studied World War Two my entire life, I will never stop. The war defined the twentieth century and helped reshape the world as we know it. Although my books are historical fiction, each book conrtains a tremendous amount of historical fact that any student of World War Two will enjoy. Take time to read my books, you won't be sorry!!!

Just to let you know, I am currently writing a book about the B-17 and air combat over the european continent. I do not have a time line as to when it will be finished, but I shall keep you updated. Like all my books it will be gritty and down to earth allowing the reader to understand just how treacherous the job could be inside a B-17.
