Nicole Davis

Nicole Davis is an educator, speaker, author, and educational technology leader dedicated to helping schools navigate the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence. As the Emerging Technology Specialist for the Maine Department of Education, she leads statewide professional learning focused on the ethical, effective, and human-centered use of AI in education.

With more than 20 years of experience teaching math and science in Maine and North Carolina, Nicole brings a practitioner’s perspective to conversations about technology, teaching, and learning. She is the architect of Maine’s AI Guidance Toolkit and co-author of EduProtocols: AI Literacy Edition. Alongside fellow educator Kate Meyer, Nicole co-founded Two Maine Teachers, a collaborative platform dedicated to sharing practical, classroom-tested ideas that help educators integrate technology, AI literacy, and innovative teaching practices in meaningful ways.

Nicole holds a master’s degree in education with a focus on curriculum design and is passionate about empowering educators and students to use emerging technologies thoughtfully and purposefully. Through her writing, presentations, and professional learning, she advocates for keeping humans at the center of learning in an AI-powered world.

She lives on the coast of Maine with her dog, Luna.
