Dr. Dan Wolfson

Dr. Dan Wolfson is a licensed clinical psychologist and one of the leading voices in childhood and adult grief in the United States. He is the founder and director of Wolfson Psychology Group, a private practice in New York City specializing in grief, and the senior clinical director of Experience Camps' Adult Grief Retreat, a national nonprofit serving grieving children and families.

Dr. Wolfson completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University's Center for Prolonged Grief, where he received advanced training in Prolonged Grief Treatment, and continues to serve as an adjunct researcher and professional education trainer. He also spent a decade as the regional clinical director of a summer camp program for grieving children.

A featured author and advisor to Modern Loss, Dr. Wolfson's work on childhood bereavement and grief has appeared in ABC, Today, The Huffington Post, Fatherly, Vice, and other national outlets. My Whole Grief is his debut children's book.
