Xavier Smith

Xavier Smith is a founder, researcher, and author whose work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, financial empowerment, and educational equity.

As the founder of Thrivv AI and Infinex Research, Xavier builds tools and produces research designed to close the opportunity gaps that race, class, and access create. He completed the NSF I-Corps program with over one hundred customer discovery interviews, earned a certification in AI and Business Strategy from MIT Sloan Executive Education, and holds a CITI Program certification in Human Subjects Research.

Xavier has published more than fifteen books, produced peer-reviewed research on algorithmic bias and Black American economic disadvantage, and built multiple ventures across education, transportation, finance, and technology. He is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
