Jaime Rich knows what it means to live in a house full of noise, love, laughter, and never enough hours in the day, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

A mother of six children — Keaton, Kori, Kanon, Kruze, Kashton, and Klara, affectionately known as the “6-Pack” and the “K-Krewe” — Jaime Rich channeled the joy, exhaustion, beauty, and gratitude of everyday motherhood into her debut picture book, Little Things (2025).

Written from the heart and dedicated to the little people who give her purpose, Little Things is a rhyming celebration of the moments most parents know well: the ticklish toes, the soapy bath nights, the sports practice sidelines, the bedtime prayers, and the quiet whisper of “I love you” before the lights go out.

Jaime believes that the ordinary, repetitive, sometimes chaotic moments of raising children are not the interruptions to a great life, they are the great life. She hopes Little Things finds its way into the laps of every parent who has ever caught themselves overwhelmed and grateful at the exact same moment.

Little Things is Jaime’s first book.
