When readers ask how far I have traveled in life, I think not only of distance, but of diversity, range, and depth of experience. I remain deeply grateful for the gifts that have shaped that journey. I was born on the exact date and year of Ghana’s Independence Day, a detail that has always felt meaningful to me. It is one reason I have long carried a strong sense of purpose and responsibility in life. That same sense of purpose and reflection lives at the heart of Found in the Sahel Wilderness. The novel follows Kuma, a searching and thoughtful man who becomes convinced that humanity has drifted too far from the divine order of creation. As he journeys into the vast spiritual and ecological world of the Sahel, he begins to learn from the very creatures and landscapes many overlook. Through those encounters, the story invites readers to reflect on belonging, responsibility, and the possibility of returning to a more harmonious way of being in the world.
