Katherine Wolff lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She worked as an editor at the weekly Boston Phoenix and, later, earned a PhD in American Literature and History from Boston University. Her research led to a book about an old library (still going strong) called the Boston Athenaeum. She also has a degree from Princeton University, which happens to be six minutes from where she was born. Eleven Kinds of Blue is her first book for young readers.
