Daisy Bates is a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy has always been the people gathered around her table and the stories worth passing down.

Born and raised in Natchez, Mississippi — a city steeped in history, resilience, and deep family roots — Daisy grew up surrounded by people who believed in showing up, standing tall, and loving out loud. That upbringing never left her. It lives in every page she writes.

The Daisy Series is her legacy in print. Drawn from aspects of her own childhood, these books place her real family — her parents, her hometown, and the remarkable people who shaped her — at the center of stories she hopes her great-grandchildren and every generation that follows will carry with them long after the last page is turned.
