Mackenna Long is a Washington State author whose novels blend historical fiction, romance, and the enduring mysteries of memory and the soul. Drawing inspiration from history, family stories, and her lifelong fascination with past-life experiences, she creates emotionally rich stories that bridge the past and present.

Her novels include The Last Song on the Titanic, Written in Stone and Ash, Under the Shadow of the Flag, and They Were Never Broken. When she's not writing, Mackenna works as a Child Nutrition Director in Washington State and enjoys history, travel, hockey, and spending time with her family.
