Tim Armstrong

Originally from Seattle, Tim Armstrong has been living on the Isle of Skye in Scotland for more than 20 years where he is a lecturer at the Gaelic college, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig. He publishes fiction and non-fiction in Scottish Gaelic and in English. His science fiction novel Air Cuan Dubh Drilseach was awarded best Scottish first novel in 2013 at the Saltire Society Literary Awards, and its sequel, An Luingeas Dorcha air Fàire, won best unpublished manuscript in 2025 at the Gaelic Literature Awards.
