G.D. Crane writes slow-burn literary fantasy about survival, power, and the people who refuse to be made gentle by either.

His debut, VEYTHAR, follows a deposed queen ten years into exile and the ruined empire that has begun to answer her — the first of several novels set in that world. He is currently at work on the next.

Crane writes from Florida's Atlantic coast, where the rockets going up over the water are a regular reminder that every empire is still under construction.
