Ms. Missi Cappella

Melissa "Missi" Cappella has spent many years creating joyful experiences for children, from running a summer camp filled with laughter, imagination, and adventure to writing stories that inspire young hearts. Known to generations of campers simply as "Ms. Missi," she believes every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and encouraged.

Missi lives in sunny Southwest Florida with her husband and their lovable French Bulldog, Bongo. She is the proud mother of three sons and grandmother to two granddaughters, with another grandchild on the way. When she's not writing, you'll usually find her designing, creating, spending time with family, or dreaming up her next adventure for young readers.
