Satya Krishna Vishnumolakala is an author and data scientist on a mission to bridge the gap between high-level technology and the curious minds of the next generation.
With nearly two decades in technology , the last nine of them building production-grade AI systems for some of the world’s largest organisations , Satya brings a practitioner’s depth to children’s literature. She holds a Master’s degree in Data Science and is a doctoral candidate in Artificial Intelligence, leading global teams of researchers and engineers across three continents.
The AI Case Files series was born from a moment of motherhood. During her son Vivaan’s summer holidays, Satya went looking for books that would introduce him to the logic behind her daily work, statistics, data science, machine learning. She found dry textbooks or oversimplified picture books, but nothing in between.
“I did not find it. So I wrote it.”
Based in Bengaluru , the same tech-hub where Jennie and Ki conduct their investigations, Satya believes every child growing up in a world shaped by data deserves the tools to read it. Her books combine narrative mysteries with hands-on Future Blueprints and Ki’s Field Reports, designed to turn readers into thinkers.
When she isn’t unravelling algorithmic bias or writing about detective squirrels, Satya advocates for human-in-the-loop technology and responsible AI design.
