Massoud Toussi, MD, PhD, MBA, is a globally recognized leader at the intersection of real-world evidence, pharmacoepidemiology, and healthcare innovation. For more than two decades, he has shaped the scientific, operational, and strategic foundations of RWE across pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, regulatory frameworks, and academic collaborations worldwide.

Currently Vice President of Real-World Evidence at United Biosource Corporation (UBC), Dr. Toussi has designed, led, or overseen hundreds of studies spanning every major therapeutic area. His work is distinguished not only by scale, but by a steadfast commitment to methodological rigor and translational relevance. He is a co-author of seminal resources that have helped define global standards in the field, including the ENCePP Methodological Guide, the HARmonized Protocol Template (HARPER), and The PASS Book.
