Jill Cross

Jill Cross is a 6th-degree black belt in taekwondo, school owner, and storyteller with a passion for helping kids and families grow in confidence both on and off the mat. She is the owner and head instructor of Saddle Rock ATA, one of Colorado's leading martial arts schools, where she has spent almost three decades teaching life skills through Taekwondo.

Jill earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Denver and has a professional background in television production, giving her a unique ability to combine humor, storytelling and meaningful life lessons in both her teaching and writing.

With more than 30-years of martial arts training, Jill has dedicated her career to helping students build confidence, discipline, resilience, and leadership skills.

Jill is also the creator of the podcast, Life Lessons from the Mat, a funny and heartfelt show inspired by the unforgettable things kids say and do in martial arts. The podcast blends humor, parenting insights, leadership lessons, and real stories from the dojang to highlight the life skills hidden inside everyday moments.

Through her writing, podcast, and teaching, Jill shares stories that help parents, coaches, teachers, and leaders better understand kids, build strong relationships, and laugh a little more a long the way.
