Stephanie Rae is the author of the sapphic romance novel Roadside Assistance. Known online as “Trans Phoenix,” she shares her experiences as a transgender woman through YouTube, where she offers encouragement, humor, and honest conversations about transition, mental health, and personal growth.

Her writing focuses on emotionally grounded characters, healing, found family, and the quiet moments of connection that can change lives. Roadside Assistance, her debut novel, combines romance, trauma recovery, and heartfelt humor against the backdrop of a winter storm in rural Pennsylvania.

She lives in the eastern United States with a herd of cats and too many ideas waiting to become stories.
