Raniel Diaz

Raniel Diaz is a follower of Jesus, husband, father, and writer based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. His writing flows from everyday moments, quiet reflections, long walks, scattered notes, and a deep desire to know God more fully. With a voice that is both personal and reverent, Raniel writes about surrender, worship, eternity, the Word of God, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in ordinary life.

His debut book, Sparks from Stillness, grew slowly through conversations, prayers, voice memos, and moments of stillness that eventually formed into a larger invitation for the Church to return to wonder, simplicity, and intimacy with Jesus. Rather than writing from a place of expertise, Raniel writes as someone still being shaped, humbled, and awakened by God’s presence day by day.

Raniel is also the creator of Every Red Letter, a project centered on slowing down and deeply engaging with the spoken words of Jesus throughout Scripture. Born from a growing conviction that many people have become familiar with the Bible without truly lingering in the voice of Christ, the project invites readers to pause, reflect, and encounter the living weight of His words again. Through simple design, reverent pacing, and thoughtful reflection, Every Red Letter seeks to create space for hearts to listen rather than rush, reminding readers that the words of Jesus are not merely historical quotations, but living invitations that still speak today.

He finds joy in meaningful conversations, serving quietly, exploring Scripture deeply, and spending time with the people he loves most. Whether through writing or daily life, his hope is simple: to point others toward the nearness of Christ and the beauty of a life fully surrendered to Him.
